The Squadron came together on Monday 26th July for a parade to welcome some of our newest members, and mark the achievements of one of our longest-serving staff members.
It’s one of the first times 222 (Broadlands) have been able to come together like this since the Covid pandemic.
The parade was attended by staff and cadets on the Squadron, as well as Sqn Ldr Green to lead the presentations.
The night included the enrolment of three of 222’s newest recruits:
Cdt Eliza Power
Cdt Harvey Edwards
And, Cdt Zak Damji
As well as welcoming new members, existing cadets were also recognised for their achievements with promotions.
Harvey Rundle and Max Westmoreland both received their Corporal stripes.
And receiving their Sergeant stripes were Libby Middleditch and Jacob Davis.
It wasn’t just the cadets receiving promotions either, FS O Connor, was officially welcomed to Squadron as uniformed staff.
And, Plt Off Paul Middleditch was given his Commissioning Scroll.
Finally, former staff member Bill Newby-Grant was recognised for his time on the Squadron with a long-service award.
