Over 70 cadets and staff were joined by friends and family at the on Friday 7th February to mark the start of the Squadron’s 35th year and celebrate the successes of the cadets in 2019.
The guest of honour this year was former Commanding Officer of 222, Wing Commander Damien Todd.
The evening was spent reflecting on everything the cadets got up to in 2019, from sporting successes and flying opportunities to adventure training camps and fundraisers.
Commanding Officer of 222 (Broadlands) Sqn, Warrant Officer Chris Brand, said: “We had a fantastic night celebrating the success of our cadets during 2019.
“It’s always a proud moment for me as Commanding Officer of 222 to recognise the achievements of our cadets.
“This year was particularly special as it kicked off the 35th year of the Squadron and I look forward to continuing to celebrate the successes of all our cadets and staff, both past and present, throughout 2020.”
